I had a plant last spring, a little potted hyacinth that smelled lovely. It was neglected, mostly, over the summer and went un-watered after I left. The bulb was left by its lonesome on the window ledge. I was about to throw it away, when, come January of this year, however, I saw a green shoot struggling to free itself from the bulb!
Its growing. Just taking its own sweet time. I will wait for it.
People change their looks drastically between high school and the end of college. Wow. It just shocks and impresses me so much - I have to completely reconfigure the image I have of certain people I knew a long time ago, and that's really not easy! Same person, just grown upwards and inwards with more layers
Grow. Grow already! Let's see...
